Isn't it the constituency party that selects - or de-selects - the candidate? Didn't the CLP make a statement on 19May on this site about MPs expenses? And now you are getting some unfavourable comment you say nothing to do with us. In her interview with the MEN yesterday Ms Blears said she didn't realise her resignation would have such an impact. A senior minister resigns two days before an election and she thought no-one would notice? She is either not telling the truth or she is exhibiting extremely poor judgement. Either way - it calls into question her standing as a candidate for the Salford CLP. This isn't a question for the MPs office. It's a question for the CLP. What a cop out.
