Barton councillor John Mullen has embarked on an ambitious project to refine the priorities in Barton Ward. At a recent meeting he stated his goals to fellow councillors.

“I want to make sure that Barton is one of the best wards to live in. As a local resident myself, I am acutely aware of many of the issues as they affect me too. I am going to contact 1,000’s of residents and consult with them and make sure I have picked up on ALL the issues and that I am representing them to council with a mutually agreed priority.”

So Councillor Mullen is asking all Barton residents to help him by completing the BIG BARTON SURVEY.

Residents will be receiving a personal letter from Councillor Mullen giving them directions to the survey on the internet or they can tear off and return the survey to him via post at the civic centre. The results of that survey will posted on his personal website and on www.salfordlabour.org.uk
