Brighton – The sun

it was down to the business of party policy changes today. The key change was one member on vote on NEC candidates as opposed to a single CLP votes.

There was talk about how predictable the sun news paper was, but few realised how savage that attack on the party would be. As I headed back the hotel I could hardly believe the BBC new headlines that Labour had jumped 6 points up in polls. A meeting later that day Gordon Brown stated,” We have jumped to only 6 points behind, we will catch them and we will then overtake them and win this election.”

Today is my last day at conference, so there will be no more reports, but in closing I would say like many, I go back refreshed and ready to take on the big responsibility of saving the public from a Tory world.
